Pharmacy Residency Program

Training Tomorrow’s Top Pharmacists

At St. Dominic’s, we offer post-graduate education to develop clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. Our commitment to quality education prepares pharmacists to become highly qualified independent practitioners.

PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency

The post-graduate year one (PGY-1) program allows residents to deliver evidence-based, cost-effective care in unit-based and multidisciplinary settings. PGY-1 residents hone their leadership and project management skills through participation in practice-based research and departmental and organizational quality improvement initiatives. Residents who complete this program are eligible for board certification and PGY-2 residency training.

Preceptors

Our experienced practitioners provide supervision during clinical practice and facilitate the application of theory to practice for students in our pharmacy residency program.

Current and Past Residents

Our pharmacy residents are trained to become well-rounded, independent clinicians who find success in a variety of post-residency positions.
