Ten FMOLHS Nurses Named to LSNA’s 2025 “40 Under 40” List; Additional Leaders Earn Statewide Honors

Baton Rouge, LA- Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS) proudly celebrates the selection of ten outstanding nursing professionals to the Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA) 2025 “40 Under 40” list. These team members represent the future of nursing, bringing innovation, leadership and compassionate care to their communities.
“Each of these team members represents the very best of what it means to be a nurse,” said Nicole Telhiard, DNP, CPN, NE-BC, interim chief nursing officer at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. “Guided by our healing ministry, their leadership not only advances compassionate, high-quality patient care in our hospitals but also helps shape the future of nursing across Louisiana. We are incredibly proud to celebrate their achievements.”
Honorees from FMOLHS and Our Lady of the Lake Health in Baton Rouge include:

From Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, the following nurses were also recognized:

In addition to the 40 Under 40 recipients, FMOLHS is honored to highlight two more nursing professionals for their statewide leadership. Elizabeth “Tren” Garbo, Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, has been elected to serve as an at-large member of the LSNA Nominating Committee for the 2025-2027 term. Jill Breazeale, MN, RN, CPHQ, Quality Manager at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, was named the 2025 recipient of the LSNA Fellow Leading the Way Award, an accolade recognizing exceptional contributions to healthcare quality and nursing practice.
The honorees were formally celebrated during the LSNA 40 Under 40 Awards Banquet, held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Hilton New Orleans Airport in Kenner, Louisiana.
These accolades reflect FMOLHS’s commitment to developing nursing leaders, advancing care delivery, and setting the standard for clinical excellence in Louisiana and beyond.
