At Our Lady of Lourdes, we want your birth experience to be comfortable and as worry-free as possible. Maternal Care Global Billing is designed to help you manage the financial aspects of your care during this special time.
What is it?
Charges for routine, uncomplicated pregnancies include prenatal care, delivery and a follow-up post-partum visit six weeks after delivery. For cesarean section births, the fee also covers the pre-op visit and two postoperative appointments.

What do I need to do?
In the early weeks of your care, we’ll confirm your insurance eligibility and review your coverage to estimate your out-of-pocket cost for services provided by our office. This estimate represents the portion we expect your insurance may not cover, and full payment of this amount is required by your 20th week of pregnancy.
Please let our office know right away if your insurance changes at any point during your pregnancy, as it may affect your financial responsibility. If you transfer care to another provider, we will bill you only for the services rendered up to that point.
