Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Lafayette is the only hospital in the region specializing in care for women and children. We are home to Acadiana’s only Pediatric ICU and Level III Surgical NICU. Our neonatal and pediatric transport teams are certified, trained and equipped to handle the most critical transports state-wide, including options for whole-body cooling, high-frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide, 24/7.

We have a host of pediatric specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurology and pulmonology to provide comprehensive care to children of all ages.

We want your birth experience to be comfortable and as worry-free as possible, starting with your very own Pregnancy Navigator, who will guide you through the delivery process and beyond. Your little one will even have their own specially trained nurse for the duration of their stay.
