FMOL Health Earns Great Place to Work Certification

March 27, 2026

Baton Rouge, LA — FMOL Health has been certified as a Great Place to Work, a national certification earned entirely through direct, anonymous feedback from team members across the health system. The Great Place to Work Certification is widely regarded as the global benchmark for recognizing outstanding workplace culture. For FMOL Health, the recognition affirms a long-standing commitment to creating a ministry where every team member feels welcomed, valued and connected to a shared mission rooted in service.

This year’s results reflect the collective voice of team members serving across FMOL Health’s more than 20,000‑member workforce. The survey is based on anonymous feedback from a representative sample of team members who were invited to share their experiences. Their feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with 87 percent describing FMOL Health as a great place to work — a score that surpasses national healthcare benchmarks. Team members highlighted the qualities that set the ministry apart, including an authentic sense of welcome, deep community commitment and a shared pride in the impact they make every day. These themes stood out in top-scoring statements such as, “When you join the company, you are made to feel welcome,” and “I feel good about the ways we contribute to the community.”

“Our health system's strength has always come from the people who choose to serve here,” said E.J. Kuiper, president and chief executive officer of FMOL Health. “When team members tell us they feel welcomed and proud of the work we do together, that means more than any external recognition. This certification affirms that our mission, our culture and our people are aligned in purpose. Their compassion, skill and commitment make FMOL Health a great place to work.”

Team members also voiced a strong sense of pride in their accomplishments and a willingness to share that pride with others. These themes are central to FMOL Health’s identity and critical to its continued growth.

“This certification reflects the culture our teams live each day,” said Hunter Richardson, chief administrative officer of FMOL Health. “In every region we serve, team members show up with purpose and heart — welcoming those who are new, supporting one another, and caring for our communities with dignity and love. FMOL Health is a place where people know they belong, and we are committed to helping them grow and thrive.”

For a ministry with more than a century of service, the Great Place to Work designation reinforces a legacy of compassionate care while signaling a strong path forward. It affirms FMOL Health’s commitment to being the best place to work and the best place to receive care in every community it serves.
