FMOL Health | St. Francis Earns Consecutive “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group

Monroe, LA – FMOL Health | St. Francis has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, marking the second consecutive time the hospital has received the organization’s top safety distinction.
The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit focused on patient safety, assigns grades from “A” to “F” to general hospitals nationwide based on more than 30 performance measures, including errors, accidents, injuries, infections and the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

For more than 25 years, The Leapfrog Group has championed healthcare transparency and patient safety. Its Hospital Safety Grade program uses a peer-reviewed methodology developed by patient safety experts to evaluate hospitals nationwide. Grades are updated twice annually and are publicly available at hospitalsafetygrade.org.
