Since 1985, Milton J. Womack has invested more than $1 million in Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, embodying their core value to work as proactive and invested partners in building a better Baton Rouge.
For decades, Womack has been a corporate sponsor of our annual signature event, supporting initiatives such as the Intensive Care Unit and Child Life Program. Through their annual charity golf tournament, the company was a lead contributor in building the Children’s Hospital and in the annual Children’s Miracle Network programming. Since 1991, ACE Hardware has committed more than $525,000 to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital through instore campaigns, an annual golf tournament, and the ACE Helping Hand grant. Each year, local ACE Hardware stores participate in two month-long Round Up campaigns. For more than 25 years, Dan Boudreaux’s ACE Hardware in Napoleonville has hosted The ACE Cajun Classic, an annual golf tournament where 100 percent of proceeds are donated to the Children’s Hospital.
Most recently, the Children’s Hospital was selected as a recipient of the ACE Hardware Helping Hand Donation and presented with a $25,000 grant to expand our Pediatric Palliative Care program, affording us the opportunity to grow the end-of-life care we provide patients and their families.

Since 2000, Formosa Plastics Corporation has donated more than $211,000 to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital through its annual golf tournament and workplace giving program.
