St. Francis Medical Center serves more than 500,000 people across 17 parishes in Louisiana and three counties in Arkansas. We understand how important it is for families in times of crisis to have the appropriate healthcare they need close to home. The St. Francis Medical Center Foundation works with the hospital to align identified critical needs with funding so that our programs and services get the support they need to ensure a higher level of care, quality, patient experience and positive outcomes for our patients.
St. Francis Medical Center offers the northeast Louisiana region’s only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Level III OB/Labor and Delivery, and dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)—vital services when it comes to the lives of our women and children and a key area of focus for the Foundation. We are also privileged to have the largest adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and are designated as a Level III Trauma Program, allowing us to care for some of the most critically ill patients in our region. Because of the generosity of our community and donors, we can make a profound impact on the lives of so many throughout the region, providing the highest level of care to hundreds of thousands of people each year.
