Gifts to St. Francis Foundation provide hospital leadership with the flexibility to meet the changing needs of our patients and staff, react to unforeseen challenges and pursue opportunities that lie on the horizon.
This year’s inaugural campaign will purchase a TEG machine which will allow our team members to best assess what trauma patients who have experienced significant blood loss need. A TEG machine will allow us to run a sample of the patient's blood and determine exactly which blood product they need to help their blood clot as close to "normal" as it should. In turn, this will allow us to use our blood products much more carefully, specifically and efficiently.
The TEG machine will also be a benefit to patients as it will allow for us to provide the patient with exactly what they need which will in turn reduce billing also.
Team members who give $5 per pay period or make a one-time donation of $130 or more will receive a brand approved T-shirt. They will also be entered to win a 20-can interchangeable cooler with a removable liner, perfect for vacations and tailgates.
